Bio
I'm a graduate of St. Louis College of Pharmacy and worked as a Pharmacist for 14 years before attending and graduating from Northwestern University's Orthotic/Prosthetic Program in Chicago. After that I did a year internship at the VA Hospital at Jefferson Barracks Veteran Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
I have been practicing in the Orthotic/Prosthetic profession for about 25 years as owner and President of my own business. I am continuously taking CE courses to stay on top of the new and advanced technology into today’s challenging world.
The reason I entered this profession was because my pharmacy patients would ask where they could get different types of braces. Not knowing much about the field I decided to learn where to order these braces for my patients. This eventually evolved into the field of making custom orthopedic and prosthetic braces and limbs for people. Custom fabrication of these braces is very interesting to me because they can be individually built and designed for each unique patients needs.
